IVAN Android (Unofficial)

IVAN Android brings the classic graphical roguelike Iter Vehemens ad Necem to touch-first Android devices while preserving the original game, art, and unforgiving spirit.

Built for touch

• Six direct action categories: Directions, Context, Items, Character, Move, and System.
• Only actions usable in the current situation are surfaced where possible.
• Tap a category icon to switch immediately; hold the category header to review available sections.
• Hold a direction to keep moving.
• Numeric prompts use an on-screen keypad.
• Menus and equipment screens use large, readable touch targets.

Map and camera

• Pinch to zoom from a close tactical view all the way out to the complete rendered map.
• Hold and drag the game canvas to pan around the map.
• Moving automatically recenters the camera on the player.
• Map notes can be created, edited, and deleted directly at the selected tile.

Readable mobile interface

• Stats, messages, game view, and controls are separated into responsive portrait and landscape layouts.
• The log appears when a new message arrives; hold its single-line banner to open message history.
• The Character category includes the classic paper-doll equipment view.
• Readable story, menu, inventory, prompt, help, and map-note text replaces legacy keyboard-sized overlays.

Mobile options

• Move the directional controller to either side in landscape.
• Hide Android system bars for an edge-to-edge view that respects camera cutouts.
• Enable or disable vibration feedback.

Install

Download the Android APK below. Android 8.0 or newer is required. If Android asks, allow your browser or file manager to install unknown apps, then open the APK and tap Install.
